Q: When will a schedule of classes be available?

A: We will list what classes will be offered as soon as possible. Due to the nature of hiring working artists, this schedule often isn’t finished until right before the event. To get a better idea of the event, you can look at lasts year's schedule.

Q: Do we have to preregister for any classes?

A: No, you are free to take any and all classes.

Q: I am not getting to the Hilton New York until Friday afternoon, will I still be able to register?

A: Yes! We will open registration at 2:30pm on Thursday and keep registration open for the remainder of the event.

Q: What is the Studio Owner Only Session?

A: It is a special sessions specifically designed for Studio Owners. We will discuss issues and demands specific to a studio owner (think staffing, how to get new students, etc). It is a great way to meet studio owners from around the country! Free for all registered studio owners. Please join us July 26th from 4-7pm.

Q: What is the 2012 Summit?

A: On Sunday, July 29th from 5-7pm join us in an unprecedented event as dance luminaries share their opinion on the State of Dance. Hear from a panel of choreographers, teachers, industry professionals and dancers as they discuss where they think dance is going in the next year, 5 years and 10 years. It is sure to be an enlightening event you won’t want to miss!

Q: Are the Fashion Show/Capezio A.C.E. Awards open to the public? If so, how do I purchase tickets?

A: Yes, both nightly events are open to the public. Extra tickets can be purchased for $20 during the registration process or onsite. One ticket is included with all full registrations.

The Dance Teacher Summit features more than 60 classes and seminars designed just for teachers. This three day event will be packed with things to do, morning noon and night. Dance classes, business seminars, meeting the exhibitors, the cocktail party, fashion show and MORE!
